The federal minimum wage has been increased to $5.85 effective July 24, 2007. By law, you are required to post the "Fair Labor Standards Act" poster in a conspicuous location accessible to employees. The Department of Labor has the poster available on line. The link is: http://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/flsa.htm The Act and the rules pertaining to it are explained at this link and you can click on the appropriate link to print either a black-and-white or color version of the law.
